Hurry up: oncoming orders lockdown!

Hello backers! How is everyone doing?

Here's a brief update to notify everyone that soon we will lock the orders on Backerkit for Barbarians: The Invasion Second Edition. Therefore, if you haven't completed the survey yet, please do it as soon as possible, otherwise your order won't be part of the global fulfillment alongside the rest of the rewards.

So, if anyone needs to change the add-ons, switch the pledge level or adjust the payment information in the survey, we suggest to do it now. 

Afterwards we will send over all your orders' details to our fulfillment partners and consequently they won't be in our hands anymore.  

Steps to follow to get your reward!

Please be sure you have successfully completed the survey. We hope the list below will be helpful:

• Choose pledge level
• Choose add-ons 
• Input shipping information
• Input payment information

Please take into consideration that, after this date, it will no longer be possible to upgrade your pledge level nor edit your add-ons, and backers will only be able to modify their shipping information. 

So don't worry, if you need to change your address you will have time until we lock the addresses (wait for our next update to know more), but meanwhile you need to insert the shipping information nevertheless or else the survey won't be considered complete.

Meeples Set Box: still some time to unlock it!

On a last note we need to let you know that the Meeples Set Box Stretch Goal on Backerkit hasn't been hit yet. The limit is 500 requests and so far only 70 backers out of the total 2.363 chose to add it to their cart. We would be very happy to realize this nice idea and create the Meeples Set Box allowing everyone to get all the wooden components, but we need your help to do it!

Since on January 14th we will lock the orders, the deadline to add this item to your cart is January 7th. What are you waiting for? Add it to your order and help us make the Meeples Set Box possible! We will notify you if it gets unlocked, of course, so you will have a week to adjust your survey consequently before we lock the orders!

The Pledge manager is open!

Hey guys! We wanted to notify you that soon our pledge manager service (Backerkit) is going to open and below we explain the entire process in detail!

Backerkit just sent the survey to only the 5% of the total number of backers as a test, which is in fact called “Smoke Test”. These backers will have the chance to be the first to fill out their surveys, so you should check your inbox: maybe you are one of them, who knows ;)

Then, if the smoke test goes smoothly, everyone of the remaining backers will receive the link to their surveys and you all will be able to: upgrade your pledge level, select your add-ons, insert your shipping address and provide your payment information in order to pay for the shipping fees.

It will be possible to modify your order’s details for a while until we lock everything down and charge the cards. Of course when we are about to lockdown the orders we will notify you through an update!

Returning Backers and Early Birds's free rewards!

Our Returning backers and Early Birds are all set! Everyone of them who got at least a copy of the game (Included the Upgrade Kit) during the campaign will automatically get a Free Mystics Set!

The assignation is based on what a backer pledged on Kickstarter, so if a supporter chose the Barbarians: The Invasion Meeples Edition they will consequently find a free Mystics Meeples Set in their cart. On the other hand, if a supporter chose the Barbarians: The Invasion Minis Edition, they will automatically find a free Mystics Minis Set in their cart.

Returning backers with different emails?

We assigned the free reward matching your email with the help of an automated software. Yet if you are a returning backer and you used a different email address to back our previous campaigns, please reach our support team at [email protected] and confirm your previous email address so they can manually add the free rewards.

Deadline for your name inside the box!

At the beginning of the survey supporters will be asked if they want to see their name inside the box of the game, as you can see below.

The deadline to provide your name will be November 24th at 12:00 CEST.

After this date we will export the file for production, therefore it will no longer be possible to edit them from that moment on and the file will not be in our hands anymore.

Nevertheless, the other parts of the survey (your shipping information, your payment information and your order's details) will still be editable after this deadline, do not worry.

 Here are the steps to upgrade your pledge level! 

Let's say you pledged €1 during the campaign, now, in order to get access to the add-ons, you will need to upgrade your pledge level first.

To upgrade it just click “Switch your pledge level” under the green button where it says “Get Started” and choose what you prefer.

After you upgrade your pledge level you too will be asked if you want your name inside the box!

This goes also for anyone who wants to change their original pledge level even if they are not part of the €1 pledge.

Choose your add-ons!

Lots of add-ons for you to choose: the Minis Invasion, the Meeples Invasion and the Upgrade Kit! 

In addition, the two Sets containing respectively the Mystics Meeples and the Mystics Miniatures are now available for you to purchase. Each set contains: the Bones Diviner, the Trickster, and the Time Weaver with their own ruleset! 

Help us unlock this special add-on!

As many of you remember, during the campaign we received lots of requests from those backers who pledged the Minis Version or the Upgrade Kit but wanted to get their hands on the wooden components as well.

Therefore, as promised, we created a special add-on including more than 80 colorful customized wooden components: The Meeples Box Set.

Now, being it a stretch goal, we only need that 500 of our backers add this item to their cart. Afterwards, the Meeples Box Set will be unlocked and we will make it happen!

Hello everyone! 

We could not be more happy right now! We are at the end of this marvelous ride and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for each single backer that supported us! The constant commitment everyone displayed towards this Second Edition was overwhelming and it is easily shown in the comments section. Speaking of which: we reached more than a thousand comments, WOW!!!

We hit the €107K Stretch Goal!

It appears you did a great job in sharing this Barbaric game! In fact we can proudly announce that the 5th Clan Power Tile is really going to happen. Well done, people: by reaching the €107K the 5th Clan Power Tile will be implemented in the gameplay!

A lot of new backers!

Hey there!

We reached the 100k today, and we surpassed the first campaign's total backers: YAY! Welcome to our new supporters! Now we are heading towards the last 24 hours, come on people!

A juicy anticipation on the Mystics Set!

We promised that soon we would have released some information about this trio and below is some brief anticipation, everyone!

• Bones Diviner: The Bones Diviner's guidance is sought by all Clans. He prays and meditates for weeks at a time, just waiting for the players to meet him on the Honor track's milestones. Once reached by the most honorable player, the Bones Diviner grants them a bonus and calls forward the other Clans.
• Trickster: The Trickster is a weird one. As it is true that a Clan may loathe him sometimes, it is also true that the other Clans are enjoying his show in the meanwhile... at least until is their turn. The Trickster loves to fool around with the God, Warchief, and Building decks...
• Time Weaver: The Time Weaver is a blessed and revered figure among the Clans, as only one in the whole world exists at any given time. She moves between the Volcano rings, and when a player's Champion finally meets her, they get the chance to grasp the future by performing actions from the ring below... Sometimes though, some Champions get also to relive the past.

Amarice's artwork is in our hands!

The illustrator reached us today to tell us he finished to work on the new Warchief card depicting Amarice and frankly, we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. We have a new Warchief among us, a new rootless Barbaric out for blood: look at Amarice's card!

We personally love it! What do you think about it?

Last minute NEW SG if we hit 107k!!!

Thought we were out of surprises, huh? Well, we still have an ace up our sleeve to conclude this campaign with a bang! 

We read about this idea from our backer on the comments section and we really liked it. So we decided to use it as our final Stretch Goal before the end: If we reach € 107K we will add another Clan Power Tile: The fifth Clan Power Tile will add variety to the gameplay!

Numbers are escalating!

Hello, backers!!

We passed the 2000 backers milestone in this campaign, thanks to our new and old backers! We just reached the last 48h, so the final rush is ahead of us: come on people, keep spreading the word!

Last reveal: The Time Weaver!!!

Well, we know that for many of you coming from the first edition's campaign this wasn't a surprise after all, but.. sometimes being a little predictable doesn't hurt, does it?

Admire the long awaited Time Weaver in the two versions, ladies and gentlemen! Some backers wanted this miniature since the first campaign, so they must be extremely excited that it's finally happening!

Little backstory on the Time Weaver

For our new backers here's a brief catch up on the Time Weaver's backstory. During the Barbarians: The Invasion First Edition campaign we were about to unlock it, but unfortunately we never reached this Stretch Goal and the campaign ended without us having the chance to add this interesting miniature to the game. 

We were sad we couldn't make the Time Weaver a reality, so you can see why this Second Edition was the perfect occasion for us to throw it back on the spotlight! We hope all our backers, and in specific, our first edition's backers will appreciate this.

We have the awesome barbaric winner!

We have to admit that it was extremely hard to select only one winner given the huge amount of enthusiasm and love all of you have showed during the campaign, but eventually a decision had to be made. Lots of you proved your commitment towards this campaign, so thanks everyone for being there with us!
