Good news: Beginning of the fulfillment!

Hi, dear backers!

Despite the difficulties we all are aware of, we are glad to announce Barbarians: The Invasion Second Edition’s delivery is finally happening!

And again, as it was for Icaion, well ahead of schedule we announced during our campaign!

So thank you to our partners that have supported us in achieving this goal!

And now, come on, let’s go into the details:

North America:

While the Canadian cargo is on its way to the Canadian Depot, in the US the fulfillment is even almost complete, so our US backers should have received the tracking numbers of the shipments.

Some lucky backers have even received their Barbarians’ copy!

Australia and New Zealand:

The cargo has been cleared by customs and our logistic partner is handling the parcels.

We were informed by them that Australian parcels will leave the hub first and then New Zealand ones will follow. Both will be shipped within this week.

Europe:

The games are in customs clearance right now and next week the cargo will reach the logistics hubs. For Europe we don't know in detail which parcels will be shipped first, but due to logistics reasons we can tell that probably Italian ones will be ready before the others. We might say, that Italian parcels will be managed approximately within a couple of weeks.

Asia:

We received word from our logistic partner that shipments should be arranged before the end of May, but it is an estimate since some delays could happen due to the Chinese National Holiday.

Furthermore, generally speaking, the worldwide situation is still uncertain and we will need to update you step by step.

Rest of the world:

The games on this category were split between the European and Asian fulfillment centers. We will keep you posted.

Names and estimates for you!

Hello, backers! How is everyone doing in these trying times? 

Here we are people, again to provide you the latest on shipping.

This time there is an important premise, as you can imagine: together with our logistic partners, we are doing (and we will do) all that is in our possibilities (and even more!) to let you backers get your copies of Barbarians: The Invasion Second Edition the soonest possible, in many cases even sooner than initially promised.

And as usual our aim is to give you as much detailed information as possible.

However, we are facing with an unprecedented, dramatic situation worldwide which requires more prudence than ever and an innovative approach, which does not allow us to provide precise long-time predictions.

Yet dear backers, let’s go step by step and start with the good news: all the Barbarians’ games and add-ons already left our factory and global fulfillment has officially started! And now, here in detail all what we know so far:

• The Asian Cargo has reached the Asian fulfillment center by ground a few days ago and they have started packaging.
   

As for now the estimate of when VFI Asia is going to start the fulfillment is May 4th, but then we will have to check the shipping schedule practically day by day and country by country. In fact, taking into consideration that, by now, some countries in Asia are in complete lockdown, in some others there are at least severe restrictions on both custom clearance and shipments. The situation is very fragmentary and it is constantly changing. Of course we will provide you with more updates at the right time!

• The Australian Cargo is on its way and the name of the ship is COSCO FELIXSTOWE.
   

The estimate time of arrival to Melbourne port is April 22nd. Steps after will be, as always, custom clearance, land transport to the fulfillment center and parcels handling. In normal circumstances those fulfillment preliminary operations need approximately three weeks starting from the arrival at port. However, also here we can’t see that far ahead as the situation requires regularly updates by our logistic partners, which we will promptly transmit to you backers!

• Also the sea shipment of the American Cargo has started.
   

The name of the ship is YM UPSURGENCE and the sailing schedule is the following:

the vessel is en route to the port of Tacoma and expected to arrive there on April 21st and 6 days after in Portland (Oregon). Custom, land transport - to US fulfillment center first and from there to Canadian HUB (for Canadian orders) - such as the handling of the parcels are, as usual, the later stages. All the logistic partners we selected worldwide are really efficient, but also here we will have to see how the situation will be, if Canada for example will be again open to business at that time.

• The European ship is COSCO HARMONY 052W, sailing from Yantian today and with an estimate time of arrival in Genoa on May 3rd.
   

In theory also here it will take about another 2-3 weeks to unload, become available, clear customs and arrive to the fulfillment centers. Once there, our partners promised already to do all what’s in their possibilities to handle and fulfill parcels as soon as possible.

About the rest of the world parcels they have been split and will be handled by the different hubs.

Production is going to end soon!

Hi dear backers!

You all are aware of the difficult situation because of the global emergency of the Coronavirus.

But nevertheless, thanks also to the great work of our factory, we are happy to be on the schedule we announced you in our last update!

So the mass production will end by the beginning of next month top and our forwarder will arrange the booking of the ships immediately after.

In the meantime, after the addresses lockdown that happened yesterday, we will now pass the backers’ list to our different fulfillment partners!

Last mass production steps

Hello dear backers, we hope this finds you well!

Lately we have been constantly monitoring the situation and reached out to our Chinese manufacturer. We have just received an update so, as promised, here we are to share with you the latest.

We are very happy to provide you with the following images: the minis have been printed as well!

 Some estimates for you

We are thrilled to say that the mass production should end in a few days. This means that, by the end of this month or the beginning of next month top, the mass production will be over. We are very relieved that, even with this terrible virus and the consequent unexpected closure of the factories in China, we are right back on the saddle for the schedule of Barbarians: The Invasion Second Edition :) 

Addresses Lockdown: March 26th at 5:00 pm cet!

Speaking of schedules, soon we are going to export the whole information and we will hand it over to our fulfillment partners. This means that, if you need to change your shipping information, this is your last chance to update it.

The deadline to lock the addresses will be on March 26th at 5:00 pm cet. Please take into consideration that, after this date, we will hand the addresses to our fulfillment partners and this means we won't be able to change them anymore since they will no longer be under our control.

In order to change your shipping information you just need to go to your survey on Backerkit, click "Edit Your Address" in the top right corner of the page and there you will be able to type in your new address.

Below an example to guide you in the address change, if needed.

If, for any reason at all, you do think that you are going to move in the upcoming months, we suggest to insert the address of a relative or a friend of yours just to be sure. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact our support team at [email protected] and they will be glad to help you out.

Barbarians Second Edition: the mass production!

Hello dear backers!

We have very interesting news and we couldn't wait longer to share this with every single one of our supporters: the mass production of Barbarians: The Invasion is proceeding terrific!

Admire all piles and piles of several freshly printed components!

We are really happy with the results so far, every component is exactly what we asked for!

When can we expect the mass production to end?

We know for sure that the Chinese New Year is from January 25th to January 30th, yet factories are closed from today to February 3rd and it will take some days before they are fully operative. As soon as they are back at the mass production we will give you further updates on the next upcoming phases.

Latest version of the rulebook!

As a cherry on top, if you check the campaign page, you will notice that the rulebook of Barbarians has been updated! Our graphic team did a marvelous job with the layout, don't you think? :)
